Wah Nails Candy Stripe

Aloha! Today I have another project from " The Wah Nails Book of Nail Art" by Sharmadean Reid. This is the Candystripe look and my second project from the book. The illustration showed a white stripe painted down the center of the nail followed by one to the right and one to the left. That's all there is to it! I choose 5 different pastel colors for a pretty, sweet effect. When I finished it totally reminded me of that yummy Fruit Stripe Gum from the 90's?..with the zebra on the package. LOL. Do you guys remember that gum?

 

 

Supplies:

• Essie- Mint Candy Apple
• Zoya -Minka
• Milani- Tip Toe Pink
• OPI-Grape Fit
• Ultra High Gloss top coat
• long striper brush & Zoya Snow White

Tip: Start with the middle stripe first.

Leopard Print Mani

I hope everyone is having a great Monday! Today I decided to try a DIY design from the pages of The Wah Nails Book of Nail Art. This cute little book features 25 cool nail art projects to do at home. It's pretty straightforward to read and if you can follow a recipe from a cookbook you can do this! =) 

Has anyone ever had a nail art pen explode on them? I mean come on Mrs. Sally Hansen
(yes you) the point of me doing my nails is to look nice...not like I've been working on my car all day! LOL

Supplies:

• Zoya- Minka
• OPI- Roll in the Hague
• Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen in black
• Looks Wet Top Coat

Tip: Place the color spots first, and then follow with a black detail pen..
